The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP), in conjunction with the Supply Chain and Logistics Association of Australia (SCLAA) recently raised over $6,000 for the Starlight Foundation and Foodbank through their annual charity golf days in New South Wales and Queensland.

A congratulations to Cryovac Sealed Air/Transpacific in QLD and Wellman Packaging in NSW for taking out the perpetual trophies and a huge thank you must go out to the following sponsors. Sponsors for the NSW golf day included Linde, Viscount Plastics, Cormack Packaging, Reema, LSA Recruitment, Lyondell Basell, SSI Schaefer, Strategix Training Group, Trojan Workforce, VersaCold and Wellman Packaging. Sponsors for the QLD golf day included Fibre King, Strategix Training Group and Loscam.

Proceeds from the Queensland golf day will be used to assist with the provision of items to be packed into 600 Christmas Hampers for Foodbank as part of a Christmas Function which will be held on Friday 2nd December.
