It was then up to LinkPlas to manufacture these designs to the world class standard that was required for these bottles.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;These include the three Classic Shapes, two in the SUB Sports Bottle range (Sarah Ulmer Brand) and two Stock Bottles.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One of the unique features of these bottles is a new triple start 30mm neck. Although this is a first for NZ it has become the norm for water bottles in Europe and other parts of the world.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Historically in NZ water bottles have been produced with the same 28mm neck design as carbonated soft drink bottles. The 30mm neck is specifically designed for water products and results in reduced weights and manufacturing costs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In addition, the triple start thread not only offers operational advantages but is also consumer friendly for opening and closing. They are Tamper Evident AND Tamper Proof, thereby offering many benefits over the older style 'push-pull' sipper cap. &lt;p&gt;The  first study, carried out by Incept, a UK based  consultancy, looked at the space efficiency when transporting wine in aluminium  cans compared to transportation in glass bottles and analysed the environmental  effects and CO2 emissions during the transportation of still wine.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The  study found that:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul type="disc"&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Slim cans have half the CO2 transport       related emissions of the equivalent 75cl wine sold in glass packaging.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Wine, in both 200ml and 250ml cans, produces       fewer transport related CO2 emissions than other packaging       formats.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Compared to glass bottles, to save one tonne of       CO2, only 5,330 cases of 250ml slim cans need to be sold.&lt;/li&gt;
