New, brighter colors and eye-catching special effects added to Clariant's RENOL®-compostable range of masterbatches for the packaging sector, in particular personal care applications.

Clariant's newly-released ColorForward™ 2013 color forecasting guide for the plastic industry. Supporting the Italian market in anticipating insight up-coming trends and consumer color preferences for the future.

Clariant's flexible delivery format approach includes advanced liquid technology for a wide range of carriers, from PET to engineering plastics. Customized to customer needs, the technology supports low dosage rate and less waste, very good color distribution, and quick and easy color change for customers.

New Exolit® EP non-halogenated flame retardants for thermosetting epoxy resins. These highly-effective flame retardants expand Clariant's pioneering Exolit being a more sustainable alternative for achieving fire protection for consumer electronics and electrical equipment and the transport and construction sectors. Low dosage effectiveness reduces material usage.

New Hostavin NOW® technology includes a new range of high- performance UV-stabilizer solutions for agricultural films. This cutting-edge development is the latest addition to Clariant's range of reliable and effective specialty polymer additives offering multiple high performance effects for niche applications based on polyolefins and engineering plastics.

Clariant has a long-standing relationship with Italy's plastics sector. Masterbatch liquids and combibatches are produced in Italy, and the European headquarters of Clariant's global ColorWorks™ network is also located in Italy. ColorWorks helps customers to accelerate the color development process to shorten the production of new products.
