PackSys Global has commissioned the fastest ‘wine line’ in the world - delivered recently to a first-time customer.  The line represents the cutting-edge of metal cap production.

Rocketing into the 21st century with a global explosion of demand for extra-long wine caps, PSG has responded by developing a production line to suit first-time entrants into this competitive and demanding market.
 
Partnering with Germany's Alfons Haar, a world leader in the manufacture of sheet fed presses, PSG fitted the back end with their latest and fastest technology.  The NZP6 redraw press, capable of rapid size changes, produces (in this configuration) both 30x60 and 30x44 blanks at 700 caps per minute.
 
The outfeed from this press goes straight into 2 of PSG’s latest side decorators - running at 350 caps per minute, with up to six-colour offset printing.

The last stage in the line is the MRA6 - setup to run a number of liner designs and sizes and which is also capable of inserting the non-refillable pourer commonly seen in the liquor market.
