HBA is gearing up to launch its first virtual event! Just like the live event, the HBA virtual event will have a full conference program, exhibitors and plenty of opportunities to network and exchange ideas - all of which can accessed from the comfort of your computer!
The industry's first virtual trade event offering the latest product development innovations and information will take place September 21, 2011. Re-Connect, presented by HBA Global, will be a one-day business event for beauty and personal care manufacturers, from any part of the world, to learn about the latest innovations in packaging, raw materials and ingredients, and private label services from the convenience of their desktop.
HBA's stellar education programming committee is also bringing new content and highlighted speakers from the 'live' event to the virtual event. The HBA Global Re-Connect educational component will platform thought leaders who have the knowledge and expertise to take product development to the next level and expand the bottom line.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with other virtual attendees, including exhibitors and speakers, through real-time chat forums and social networking opportunities. The virtual event will be supported by a comprehensive resource center where attendees can download product information from suppliers as well as review speaker handouts.
Founding sponsors of the event are Ampacet, a global manufacturer of color and additive masterbatches, provides consumer goods companies with unique colors and special effects for their plastic products and packaging; and TricorBraun, a leading source of rigid packaging, with extensive capabilities in package design and engineering, logistics and international sourcing. Exhibitors include Auraline Beauty, Brad-Pak Enterprises, Global Packaging Inc., and PHCP Inc.
Jill Birkett, Brand Director, Beauty & Wellness commented:
We are excited to debut this virtual event and be able to create a worldwide on-line environment that will allow those in the industry to gain knowledge, share information and interact with each other, without leaving their office. For those who weren't able to attend the 'live' HBA event, they will be exposed to important products, sources, and innovations to help build their brands and fuel their product development initiatives.
Just like the HBA Global Expo in New York, the virtual trade show offers many of the same benefits as going to a live event:
Exhibition Hall - The exhibition hall contains all the exhibitor stands. Delegates can visit exhibitor booths and see an exhibitor's latest product/service offerings, pick up company information, view presentations or simply drop off their virtual business card.
Auditorium - The auditorium will host with both live webinars and pre-recorded session presentations spread over the course of the day.
Networking lounge – Designed to provide a place for group conversations, the lounge gives delegates the opportunity to network and chat in real-time.
Resource Center - The resource center allows delegates to access and download all brochure materials, presentations, white papers and reports from the event and all exhibitors.
Registered attendees to the HBA virtual trade event will also gain on-demand access to the information for up to six months after the event. For more information and to register for free to HBA Global Re-Connect go to: www.hbaexpo.com/reconnect
