One of the star exhibits on the C21 STO stand at Packaging Innovations, which will be held in Birmingham from 29th February to 1st March, will be the faceted bottle Stölzle Flaconnage has produced for Oriflame.

Marcel Eau de Parfum has been custom designed by Oriflame in collaboration with internationally acclaimed Franco-Swedish designer, Marcel Marongiu.  The intricate, multi-faceted square 50ml bottle is a triumph of glass moulding. Evoking a ‘chaotically’ cut diamond, it signifies a woman’s many facets.  The base offers more facets together with a de-bossed ‘M’, the designer’s emblem.

‘With this bottle, the distribution of glass in the mould is critical,’ said Mark Devonald Smith, STO Sales Director of Perfumery and Personal Care. ‘The shallowness of the bottle intensifies the difficulty provided by the facets, and base moulding adds another tricky feature. Marcel has been a fascinating project and one that we are delighted to have been associated with.’

A square cap in metallic bronze, reflecting the colour of the bottle’s contents, has been supplied by Rexam. It features a central panel engraved with another ‘M’ that activates a spray through one side.

STO Flaconnage is a member of the Stölzle Glass Group, experts in both custom design and standard glass containers for the perfumery and personal care markets. Stölzle Flaconnage’s upgraded decoration factory offers state-of-the-art technology including hot foil stamping and twin line spraying. Also available is a wide range of closures, making STO a one-stop-shop.
