Rawlings were delighted to attend the SIBA Beer X in Sheffield and are very proud to announce that a number of our customers won awards for their amazing brews (a lot of which we were able to taste and we definitely agree with the judges!)

Tuesday saw the judging session, the panel, made up of the UK's brewing elite, including around 100 brewers, industry experts, local licensees and many a beer enthusiast assessed a total of 300 finalist beers, all of which earned their place by winning a medal at one of SIBA's eight regional competitions. So to say the competition was fierce is a huge understatement.

Three Supreme Champions and 60 medal winners were announced in the cask, keg and bottled categories. SIBA Chief Executive Julian Grocock said, "With close to 800 brewers now within SIBA's membership, competition for a medal is intense at both regional and heats and the national final. To win a place at the final judging at Beer X is an achievement in itself", and we couldn't agree more.

So, huge congratulations to the winners who included our customers: Arbor Ales, Arkells Brewery, Bristol Beer Factory, Cotswold Spring Brewery, Compass Brewery, Moor Beer, Quantock Brewery, St. Austell Brewery, Redemption Brewery, The Celt Experience and Thornbridge Brewery

Also, big Congratulations to all of the other brewers who won awards, we hope the future is full of award winning brewing opportunities for you all!

Rawlings offers Luscombe a new packaging concept

Luscombe produces a range of high end drinks that are filled in flint and amber bottles. In the past the filling approach required two different bottles and the amber bottle used by the firm was underperforming. Instead of sourcing a bottle from overseas or creating a single bespoke amber bottle, Rawlings opted to create a single tailored mould for the company. This not only solved past problems but also allowed for design improvements and permitted both bottles to be produced using an interchangeable head.
