Bapco’s closures are pre-assembled injection moulded closures that include an over-cap, a spout (or neck), and a fused foil laminate. The closure components are pre-assembled and sealed prior to delivery to the customer.

After the product is put into the bottle, jar or can, the closure is clipped or lightly screwed into position and the closure is welded to the container using an induction welding process.

Delivering higher consumer convenience

The induction welded foil provides an absolute seal, guaranteeing leak-proof packaging and 100% barrier performance, while the patented ring-pull technology ensures that the consumer still experiences an easy-opening closure with satisfactory tamper evidence.

Twister Range

The Bapco 82mm Twister closure belongs to a new generation of closures that offer brand owners the opportunity to differentiate their products for brand positioning and to create consumer product loyalty. The closure technology combined with the use of a reduced neck finish delivers significant environmental lightweighting benefits to containers. The Twister range of closures provides a familiar screwcap action that makes it easy for consumers to open and reseal. No additional leverage is required to break the tamper evident seal or to overcome the vacuum.

Twister closures range in diameter from 28mm – 82mm and are available in a range of Pantone® colours. The injection moulded overcap and spout are available in PP, PE or PET depending on the process application.
