Fruitful developments in China

Bapco Closures a provider of unique closure solutions have recently completed the second installation of its high speed induction welding system into China. The successful roll out of its Twister 82mm closure for hot fill and retort fruit products continues to drive success of this closure solution.

The induction welding system (BTW) installed is a high end development by Bapco to suit the design flexibility of its closure solutions they provide. The system is design to provide a full weld for the closure with its universal easy open device avoiding that compromise between ‘peel and seal’. Operational providing the required high package integrity, whilst enabling consistent openability for a wide range ages and user capability.

The particular Bapco Induction Welder installed runs with line speeds up to 160 bpm for the 82mm neck finish:-
