Manufactured in HDPE or in PET, the tablet containers together with the new plastic closures by BU Plastics Bormioli Rocco are an extraordinary guarantee to preserve the product’s qualities, leaving it untouched. However their endeavours to guarantee a high performance packaging go far beyond this. Should HDPE – a material featuring intrinsic high moisture and water resistance properties - not ensure a sufficient protective barrier, the BU Plastics has designed an additive enabling to increase the barrier properties against moisture by up to 35%compared to the standard HDPE.

It is a material with water vapour passive barrier (moisture) properties, therefore it is particularly suitable for the packaging of hygroscopic products (tablets).

The tablet containers and the caps enhanced thanks to the silica gel, both in the child proof and in the screw caps versions, are the combined result of the application of sophisticated technologies such as injection-blow, injection-stretch-and-blow and compression.
