This year there is an additional incentive to go to Vitafoods (at Stand 962) that goes by the name of "3phase" - an innovative single dose system developed by Bormioli Rocco for the diet sector, which will make its debut at the trade fair in Geneva from the 10th to the 12th of May.

The same company that patented the New Shaker concept – a highly successful single dose system thanks to its specific functionality and user-friendly practicality – now launches a new single dose system for drinkables (for ready-to-use solutions to be mixed just before drinking) which offers extremely effective moisture protection, thus avoiding lumpy powder and damage to its active principles.

3phase is the solution that sector companies have been waiting for: a more effective way of improving moisture protection and prolonging product shelf life. Stringent tests have demonstrated that the 3phase single dose system notably reinforces the moisture barrier and offers greater protection against the humidity which contributes to weakening a solution’s active principles, guaranteeing longer lasting product integrity and effectiveness.

These important results have been achieved by redesigning the whole single dose system (consisting of cap, plug and plunger), an operation carried out by the R&D unit of the  Bormioli Rocco Plastics Division on the strength of its years of research into materials and technologies.
