Cosmopak believe that they have made a big leap forward with the first PCR case available worldwide. Plastic is not biodegradeable, it is therefore important to invest in innovative ways of recycling current material.

The lipstick cap and base are made from 100% PCR plastic, while the mechanism is virgin material. The overall claim is 66% pcr plastic case. The material is a combined PP/PE mix which was sourced using a recycling program in Europe.

During the recycling process of PET beverage bottles, the caps (PE / PP) are shredded, hot- washed and dried. Cosmopak uses this material as the basis for its lipstick.

The moulding is done in specially prepared moulds that are accommodating to the varying range of shrinkage rates we get on this material. The case can be made in a variety of colours and standard decoration options are available.

ENVIRONMENTAL

Made of 100% Post Consumer Recycled plastic this lipstick case is truly “Green”. Recycled material is a PP/PE combination sourced and manufactured in Europe. During the recycling process of PET beverage bottles, the caps are shredded, hot washed and dried, then used as base material for moulding.

High quality moulding helps ensure consistent quality and colour. All available decoration options can be used including silkscreen, hot stamping and engraving.
