Coster Tecnologie Speciali S.p.A., a leading player in the global aerosol, pump and filling machine market, announced today that it has acquired a majority stake in Sun Spray Packaging (New Delhi), the major Indian manufacturer of mass-market perfumery pumps.

Claudio Contini commented: "We are delighted to announce this new strategic partnership, which will enhance our perfumery pump production by ensuring good product quality at a reasonable cost. In addition, the experience that Sun Spray has developed in metal stamping, anodisation and assembly provides Coster with a low-cost manufacturing structure."

Sun Spray Packaging founder, Deepak Agrawal, added: "Sun Spray has been a Coster licensee for more than ten years, and clearly we are very pleased with the new partnership. We are proud of our achievements in terms of quality and cost and look forward to adding significant value to the Coster network."

Mr. Agrawal noted that the company would shortly change its name to Coster India Packaging Pte. Ltd. Coster India Packaging will operate directly in India, the Middle East and Russia and through Coster Group sales organizations in Asia, North and South America and Africa.
