MWV promotes Olivier Trevidic to Director, Folding Carton North America Sales for Beauty & Personal Care Business
MeadWestvaco Corp. (NYSE: MWV) today announced Olivier Trevidic has been promoted to director of folding carton sales for North America within MWV’s Beauty & Personal Care business, effective June 30, 2009. In this role, Trevidic will lead the sales team in developing sustainable and profitable growth to MWV’s major customers in North America.

Trevidic brings a wealth of industry knowledge to the position. He has worked in the packaging industry for more than 20 years supporting customers from a global perspective. Before joining MWV in 2007, he most recently held the position of vice president of sales for Cartondruck and supported major brands including: Estee Lauder, L’Oreal, Mary Kay and J&J.
MWV's strength in this market is also supported by the recent installment of two additional finishing lines at the company’s Melrose Park, Ill., facility:
- Duofold®, a package that combines the best attributes of rigid plastic and paperboard components for greater product visibility.
- Alpina, a high-speed gluer that allows for the most efficient assembly of complicated packaging construction.
