More tamper-evident features for Polyfoil® tubes from Neopac

Neopac, a leading provider of Polyfoil® tubes for the biotech, pharmaceutical, personal care and cosmetic industries, introduces six variations of tamper-evident heads, caps and closures for its pharmaceutical-compliant Polyfoil tubes.

Although Neopac’s high-barrier Polyfoil tubes protect sensitive pharmaceutical grade formulations from light, moisture, oxygen, and organic and chemical substances, the company’s tamper-evident features provide even more product protection.

Neopac’s full line-up of tamper-evident systems include:

  • Fliptop Cap with Tear-off Band: A flip-top cap is also available with a tear-off band, which cannot be opened until the tear-off band has been removed.
  • Tube with Non-Perforated Cuttable Nozzle: The user gets a closed nozzle-tube, which the user can slice open to assure first time use.
  • Sleeve: The cap is covered with a plastic shrink band. The user must pull the plastic band at the perforated section to open the cap.

“Between our high-barrier Polyfoil tubes and our variety of tamper-evident systems, Neopac offers the highest degree of product protection in the industry,” says Cornelia Schmid of Neopac. “Neopac tubes provide pharmaceutical level packaging that both manufacturers and consumers can trust.”
