Neopac moves into China

Neopac, the leading provider of Polyfoil tubes for the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, personal care and cosmetic industries, announces the approval of its Polyfoil tubes by the Chinese State Food & Drug Administration in June 2009.  This approval allows Neopac to sell its high quality, barrier tubes directly to the Chinese pharmaceutical market.

Neopac established its first representative office in Shanghai in October 2008 in anticipation of the approval.  Annie Ju, who has worked in China’s chemical and industrial markets for over 15 years, has been appointed Commercial Manager and will explore business opportunities in China’s pharmaceutical market for Neopac tubes. 

Chinese customers, especially those involved in the production of ophthalmic, hemorrhoidal and animal health products, are extremely interested in superior packaging technologies and how such packaging can enable them to develop new products and improve their existing ones. High barrier Polyfoil tubes can provide Chinese pharmaceutical manufacturers with an impressive range of sizes including a 10mm tube with a 1 – 3ml fill, and a wide variety of nozzles and tamper evident features. Polyfoil tubes also meet international requirements that will enable manufacturers to expand their business beyond China’s borders. Additionally, Chinese customers trust the integrity and effectiveness of Swiss-made products.
