Earlier this year Plasticum presented the one-piece Jessica with a diameter of 35 mm, Jessica 35. It is a horizontal spray actuator fitted with Plasticum’s Insertless Spray technology. Following customer demand, Plasticum brought this development to the final stage. The production tools and processes are being finalised and products will be available soon.

Supported by the positive market response to the Jessica design, Plasticum decided to develop a Jessica with a diameter of 45 mm, Jessica 45. This expansion of the existing Jessica has the same look and benefits, perfectly suitable for Personal Care applications. It will be presented at the Aerosol Exhibition in Rome.

The elegant one-piece Jessica actuators are environmentally friendly and recyclable as one part. The ergonomically shaped finger recess area has been positioned conveniently and transfers the actuation force effectively to the aerosol system. The glossy products can be supplied in any desired colour - also translucent - and with different over caps to further customise the design. Thanks to the high level of automation these spray products guarantee an economical choice.

The Jessica products extend Plasticum’s ecological and cost effective Insertless Spray range, containing Cooper 35, Oscar 52/37 and Oscar 52/45. The patented spay solution that integrates the actuator and insert, offers a good control and spray performance when activating the aerosol.

The 16th FEA Aerosol Exhibition and the 27th FEA Aerosol Congress will be hosted by the Italian Aerosol Association (AIA) at the Rome Cavalieri, from 21st to 23rd September 2010. This event is held once every three years at a different location in Europe. It is the key platform for the whole aerosol industry.

Plasticum will be showcasing Jessica 45 and other fine products at Stand 83, in the Garden Lobby.
