Quadpack launches onto the make-up scene at Make-up in Paris
International packaging supplier Quadpack is using Make-Up in Paris (24-25 June 2010) as a platform to mark its entry into the make-up market. During the event, the company will show a mix of classic packs and new innovations, at its stand no C08. As exclusive Yonwoo distributor, these will include a number of Yonwoo’s patented airless products.
“This first edition of Make-Up in Paris is the ideal opportunity for Quadpack and Yonwoo to demonstrate their know-how in the highly technical and specialised field of make-up,” said Quadpack marketing director Gérard Perrin. “We look forward to forging new relationships with private-label manufacturers and colour cosmetics houses.”
At the event, Quadpack will present its standard packs for make-up. The Yonwoo airless family ranges from premium packs to Econo brand low-cost alternatives. Ideal for foundation, these packs avoid contact with air to maintain product integrity. Anti-flowback functionality minimises contact between skin and product, making usage very hygienic.
A wide range of packs for lipgloss and lipstick will also be on display.
Among Quadpack’s packaging innovations will be a new heated mascara for voluminous curled eye lashes. The double-ended mascara features an eyelash curler on one end which creates a drastic parabolic curl with only two or three applications. The heat-resistant mascara on the other end then holds the eyelashes in place and keeps them curled all day. A dual brush with mini-tip enables easy application on upper and lower lashes.
Designed for SPF lip balms and light-vulnerable formulas, Yonwoo Luxefoil tubes combine airless technology with an aluminium barrier to protect sensitive products from light and oxidation.
Other innovations include an airless well pump from Yonwoo that enables single-handed usage. Contact with skin is avoided by a unique delivery system which dispenses the lotion directly onto a cotton pad, guaranteeing absolute hygiene, while keeping hands clean and dry. Ideal for make-up remover and cleansing lotions, the pump enables consumers to apply the product with one hand, keeping the other hand free to hold back hair.
