Quadpack has announced that Wyn Thomas has joined Quadpack UK as Operations Manager. Based at the London office, he heads up the operations team responsible for managing product development, purchasing and logistics in the UK, Scandinavia and Poland. He will also work closely with Quadpack Group’s other operations managers to share and implement best practices.

“This will be an interesting and challenging post,” he says. “When it comes to innovation, Quadpack leads the way in the cosmetic packaging industry. Its leadership relies on moving quickly to bring to market the latest technological advances. With offices in 11 countries and an extensive international supply base, operations need to be tight. As part of the global operations team, I look forward to helping make it happen.”

Business unit director Mike Banister comments: “This is a key role in the team and one that requires a great deal of technical knowledge and experience. Wyn is phenomenally qualified and we are lucky to have him.”

Wyn brings 16 years’ experience in FMCG, specializing in packaging development and manufacturing engineering for cosmetics, toiletries and fragrances. Prior to Quadpack, he worked for Alberto Culver, Estée Lauder, Cosi and Kimberly Clark.

He has a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Surrey and admits to being a long-suffering Welsh rugby fan, having long ago abandoned any sporting ambitions of his own.
