Rexam XD-11 fine mist pump selected by Korloff Paris for new woman’s fragrance
The exclusive Korloff Paris, renowned for its extraordinary jewelry creations, has selected the Rexam XD-11 fine mist pump for its three new women’s fragrances.
The three versions of the Korloff eau de toilette – called Kno1, Kno2 and Kno3 – will be packaged in an 88 ml bottle, in numeric commemoration of the priceless Korloff Noir – an 88 carat black diamond that, for generations, was a prized possession of Russian nobility.
The ultra-low profile XD-11 was designed for deluxe brands and opens exciting new opportunities for brand owners competing in the high-end market segment. The pump’s ergonomically advanced actuator is available in metal or plastic, and in classic or smoothly sculpted designer versions, and combines with the reduced diameter of the nozzle to enhance the pump’s aesthetic and tactile appeal.
“This is a perfect match of brand and dispensing technology,” said Julie Vergnion, Product Manager – Fine Mist, for Rexam’s Personal Care Division. “Our XD-11 sets new standards in the category, with its high performance, ultra-low profile and neutrality, which combine to enhance the appeal of the world’s finest fragrances.”
Korloff Paris represents the ultimate expression of high fashion, international flair and desirability. And Korloff Noir is the soul and symbol of the company. Rexam’s XD-11 pump communicates this sensibility to the sophisticated, worldly clientele – and Rexam’s worldwide technical and sales support is the industry’s finest.
In addition to its ultra-low profile, made possible by a unique, miniaturized mechanism concealed within the neck of the bottle, the XD-11 incorporates a smooth-operating pre-compression design. This permits fine, precise atomization and enhances end-user comfort and, thus, overall appeal. Customers can select either 40- or 60-degree spray angles, to complement fragrance characteristics.
With its complete neutrality, the XD-11 pump protects the long-term integrity of the fragrance. Neutrality is assured by the placement of its external spring, its glass bead and the absence of any elastomer joints. This prevents the fragrance from contacting the metal parts of the mechanism.
In terms of design flexibility, the XD-11 offers a variety of different assemblies, including crimp, screw-cap and TCS (The Crimpless System?) versions. In addition, the XD-11 fragrance pump is available in three dosages: 70 ml (2.5 fl. oz.), 100 ml (3.5 fl. oz.) and 120 ml (4.25 fl. oz.).
The Korloff fragrances are sold only in the company’s 50 boutiques and in markets where the jeweler has a brand presence, including Asia, the Middle East and Eastern Europe. The company was founded in 1978 by Daniel Paillasseur and has earned an international reputation for quality, exclusivity and design excellence.
