Wide-ranging dispensing solutions on display at Emballage, by Rieke

A range of solutions from Rieke Dispensing for the effective dispensing of hair care and personal care products will be a major highlight of the Top Emballage stand at Emballage 2010, where the company will also be showcasing Rieke’s latest innovations in a wide variety of other markets including food, dermatological creams, hand sanitizers and household and janitorial products, at Hall 6, Stand H047 between the 22nd and 25th of November.

With product formulations in the personal care sector becoming increasingly sophisticated and competition for shelf space ever more acute, Rieke’s development work has focused on creating a selection of dispensers, including its Airless and Foamer ranges, which are capable of meeting different product requirements and can be personalised to specific branding objectives.

The Airless range is designed to handle products of different viscosities, including creams, lotions and gels, and a non-metal contact construction means they are compatible with a wider range of product formulations and ingredients.  The dispensers feature a pre-assembled one-piece follower piston and are designed to pump air via a unique valve system, while an innovative suckback features pulls product back from into the nozzle after use for clean and hygienic operation.

Two modern-looking designs – slim-line and wide-bore – are offered in a range of sizes and dosing options, with the smaller sizes up to 100ml ideal for travel packs that meet security requirements for aircraft hand luggage.  The dispensers are available in natural, transparent and colour combinations with a variety of decoration options, enabling them to create differentiation and shelf stand-out for individual brands.

The finger operated and palm operated Foamers, which draw product from the container and mix it with air at the point of dispense to enable it to foam without the use of traditional aerosol technology, have also been designed to combine practicality and ease of use with on-shelf impact.

A specially-developed venting system ensures consistent fill levels in the bottles, while a standard water-ingress resistance feature reduces the possibility of microbiological contamination during filling or usage.  The Foamers also feature non-metal contact construction.

The stylish, modern-looking designs can be complemented by a range of customisation options, including different colours and materials (such as a soft-touch effect) for the button and nozzle, to allow effective branding.

For maximum flexibility the finger-actuated and palm Foamers fit standard 43mm and 40mm neck finishes respectively but can also be adapted to meet individual customer requirements.  The finger-actuated Foamer dispenses a 0.8ml dose, the palm version 1.7ml.

Other products on display from Rieke’s extensive range of dispensing solutions include the market-leading Airless HVDS, which is able to achieve 98% product evacuation for even the most high viscosity products, and the RS30, recognised as the dispenser of choice for foodservice applications.

“A dispenser has today to meet many different practical and aesthetic requirements,” comments Warren Wharton, Sales & Marketing Director, Rieke Dispensing.  “Our wide range of dispensers can be tailored to precise customer needs to deliver the most appropriate solution each time.”
