SHB’s ideas and innovations are the result of intensive collaboration with customers.  The company continually develop new standard bottle ranges as well as customer-oriented series to create complete packaging solutions.  SHB will be giving packaging purchasers a taste of upcoming new elements this year at Fachpack, including new closures and closure adaptors.

Throughout 2010, the company has enjoyed remarkable success with two new closures: KAPPA and OMEGA.  With the addition of these closure ranges, the total of different closure variants available for the DELTA bottle neck grows to seven.  After two years’ development, SHB’s MARS closure is now also available.  The new closure is designed to be a real eye-catcher on the shop shelf, and one that customers won’t be able to help noticing.  It’s now the third 3-colour closure offered by the company.

SHB is also offering a glimpse into 2011 with a preview of the ARIANE closure.  The new line will go into production at the beginning of next year, and will be exhibited at COSMOPACK in Bologna from the 18th to the 21st of March, 2011.

Apart from new closures, the patented DELTA adaptor stands out amongst SHB’s new developments in 2010.  This adaptor is compatible with all SHB DELTA bottles, easily fitted in order to convert the snap-on bottle neck to a standard screw thread.  This means that an existing bottle range can be used with a completely different dispenser without any additional tooling costs.  The company is also working intensively on a variety of other adaptors, such as a metering closure, a nozzle for precise application, an others.
