SR Packaging China has released a full range of thick wall kilner jars in PET, ideal for a variety of Cosmetic and Food products.  The jars minimize environmental impact by using no heavy metals in order to produce a sturdy product that can be used over and over without being put back into the recycling chain like other one-use plastic products.

The jars are also lighter than glass and shatterproof, meaning they are easily transportable at a low cost, with less of a carbon footprint.  They come in a number of shapes and sizes ranging from 150ml up to 500ml, and weights between 3.3oz and 16.9oz.

The jars feature a polycarbonate composition that can withstand temperatures up to 149ºC without deforming, which is particularly suited to the process of pasteurization, allowing companies to hot-fill the jars with any sort of food product, such as preserves, sauces, honey, etc.  The jars also sport a food-grade silicon seal that provides a perfect seal for both dry and viscous liquid products.   On-site inspection and strict QC standards are performed to ensure regulation compliance.

As with all of SR Packaging’s products, the jars come in a limited number of stock colours and configurations, though custom colouring and decorating are always an option, and done in house.  The company currently has the ability to add a variety of decorative touches, including silk-screen printing, hot-stamping, and labelling.
