Reusable lipstick tubes cut down on waste

SR Packaging, providers of injection, extrusion, and blow molded plastic components since 1989, have released an interesting concept ripe to be picked up by the cosmetic industry - lipstick cases that cut down on post-consumer waste by providing the option for replacing the product contained rather than having to purchase a new one when finished.

Consumers are increasingly conscious about reducing the environmental impact of packaging without compromising performance.  SRP’s years of experience in the beauty and personal care industry allows them to understand new trends and to stay ahead in innovative packaging design, while responding to consumer

Within SRP's “I” series, there are diverse lipsticks that help save on costs without sacrificing luxury or quality.  The cases have been designed with new opening mechanisms, reducing component parts to create a refillable tube.  The cases do not requ, and developed lipstick cases that do not require lubrication oil in the assembly process, either, whilst still ensuring a smooth swivel.

Also, this new concept in refillable liptsticks ensures further eco-sensitivity by allowing consumers to take apart the structure quickly and easily in order to recycle the components (made of one 5 pieces of plastic and metal).  As there is not oil used in the production process, components remain clean throughout the life of the product.

The various models within the "I" series each feature different options and configurations, to ensure broad appeal and customization choices.  The "i-Simplism" is the standard configuration whereas the "i-Replaceable" features quick-change lipstick tops in a unique refillable design.  The "i-Presso I"  features a “popping” design, that releases lipstick with the touch of a finger.  The "i-Presso II" offers the same mechanism with a luxurious metal outer shell that offers a large surface for decoration.

All of the lipstick cases are fully customizable and may be decorated using SRP's broad range of decoration techniques.
