Stölzle Glass Group fly an eagle for Stock Spirits Group
Stölzle Flaconnage have produced an extensively challenging embossed bottle in cosmetic white flint for Orzel, the new vodka from Stock Spirits Group.
Orzel is Polish for eagle and the 750ml oval bottle in cosmetic white flint is embossed with an eagle in a concave panel at the top that breaks into the steeply sloping shoulders. Another appears on the underneath of the pediment-shaped bottom. More embossing on the reverse of the bottle is magnified when viewed from the front.
‘This was a challenging design and production brief,’ said Neil Robson, Stölzle Glass Group Sales Director - Prestige Spirits ‘But it was achieved with excellent results.’
Orzel is undergoing a rolling launch across the USA. For this premium vodka, Stock Spirits Group have gone back to an original Polish recipe dating from 1906, and have incorporated that date into the embossing on the bottle. Derived from a spelt wheat base, the spirit is distilled six times in small batches and chill filtered over quartz.
‘This could be said to be a truly international production,’ said Neil. ‘With the bottle produced in the UK, the Orzel vodka distributed and bottled in Poland, and then the brand launched onto the American market.’
