Mark Devonald Smith has been appointed Group Sales Director for Perfumery and Personal Care for the international Stolzle Glass Group by Johannes Schick, Chief Executive Officer of the STO group. The last eighteen months has seen Mark as UK Director for perfumery and personal care develop this side of the business for Stölzle Flaconnage, the UK STO factory at Knottingley, West Yorkshire. A range of classic and versatile standard glass containers has been created to stand alongside the well-known custom designed bottles and jars produced by STO.

An Austrian company with two hundred years’ experience of glass bottle production, STO has factories in Austria and Poland as well as the UK. Mark will be responsible for building an effective personal care sales and marketing team that can develop European business as well as the UK. “We shall be extending our core customer base and bringing on board key prospects throughout Europe,” said Mark as the announcement was made. “Our new range of standard containers enables the company to broaden its appeal to the perfumery and personal care market. STO’s long experience and glass bottle skills, together with an ability to respond to customer needs, offer a wide range of containers that can fulfil all needs.”
