Weatherchem appoints new Vice President of Sales

Weatherchem Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Stevens to vice president of sales. Stevens will lead Weatherchem’s commercial operations as an integral member of the company’s senior leadership group. He brings to Weatherchem extensive experience in packaging, sales, commercial operations, marketing, and product innovation.

Weatherchem’s sales team, customer service organization, and technical services group will all report to Stevens. Prior to joining Weatherchem, Stevens spent 20 years with Owens-Illinois, Inc (NYSE: OI) in many leadership roles, most recently as vice president of sales, marketing, and innovation – Glass Containers, North America. Stevens was responsible for leading all sales and marketing initiatives for Owens-Illinois North American operations. He also led the company’s innovation and new product development programs. Stevens played an active role in Owens-Illinois sustainability efforts and frequently spoke on behalf of the company regarding its initiatives.

A native of Middletown, New Jersey, Stevens holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from West Virginia University and an MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He serves on the Board of Directors of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Northwest Ohio and is an executive committee and board member of the Jamie Farr Owens-Corning classic LPGA charity golf event. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Glass Packaging Institute from 2006 – 2007.
