Rexam combines two global resources to offer one-stop shopping for both fragrance pumps and caps
By bringing its Dispensing Systems and Cosmetic Closures organisation under one roof, Rexam now offers a complete line of stock and custom fragrance caps along with its wide variety of fine mist spray assemblies from a single organisation.This change was made to benefit the customer," said Antoine Bruno, Rexam Dispensing Systems Marketing Director. "When customers need both a pump and cap for their product launch, they don't have to look any further than Rexam. Combining the expertise of a quality cap supplier with the advanced technology of a leading pump manufacturer, we can now give the customer the best of both worlds under one umbrella. Customers benefit not only from a simpler, easier and more efficient process, but also from the dynamic synergy that these two global resources can produce together as a single business."
The new organization is backed by design, engineering and manufacturing facilities in France and the U.S. Caps are produced at Rexam's Simandre (France) plant, while spray assemblies are manufactured and assembled at its Le Tréport (France), Thomaston, Conn. (U.S.) and Jundiai (Brazil) sites.
"This international capability assures customers that their products can be delivered anywhere and on time to meet demanding global launch schedules," said Bruno. In addition, Rexam recently formed an alliance with the Anomatic Corporation in Newark, Ohio, to produce a full line of stock 'AnoCaps' that provide a precise match of any spray package in any color or finish.
Products that feature both a Rexam pump and cap component are 'Poison' from Christian Dior and 'My Queen' by fashion designer, Alexander McQueen, from YSL Beauté. Both of these packages had Surlyn caps fashioned at the Simandre plant, then delivered to Rexam's Le Tréport facility for assembly with a pump mechanism, before shipment to the customer.
