James Alexander Corporation’s patented Plastic Ampoule (U.S. patent numbers 6,379,069; 6,641,319; and 6,869,242) is an innovative unit dose package designed to eliminate the inconvenience of having to tear or cut the top of the package in order to dispense the contents. With just a gentle squeeze, the patented inner membrane ruptures, allowing the contents to be dispensed by the user.![]() JAC’s Plastic Ampoule is unlike any other package on the market, and its unique attributes make it perfect for such applications as:
Plastic Ampoule Configurations and Materials of Composition: The Plastic Ampoule is available in either 2 or 5 ml polyethylene swab or dropper tip configurations and a 2 and 5ml polypropylene dropper tip configuration. Technical data sheets are available for both polyethylene and polypropylene versions. Plastic Ampoules can be fluorinated at a number of different intensity levels. The fluorination process may enhance many Plastic Ampoule properties, including chemical resistance. JAC’s Plastic Ampoules can also be manufactured in a wide variety of colors. For the dropper tip, the precision dropper is composed of polyethylene. JAC’s standard swab applicator tip is composed of polyolefin.
