April’s Interpack show will see the launch of new lines in the Airless HVDS range of dispensers which exceed the previous volume limit of 500ml.The Airless HVDS (High Viscosity Dispensing System) is said to achieve 98% product evacuation, 600ml, 700ml and 1 litre models will be available. The product has been designed by Rieke for products such as dermatological emollient creams and other substances of high viscosity which are often difficult to dispense.
The Interpack show at the Messe in Dusseldorf, will also see the launch of a Mini Airless range of dispensers for creams and lotions, this range will be available in 15ml, 25ml and 35ml. This new range contains a specially designed valve targeting the travel market.
Developed over two years the Airless HVDS combines airless and piston-up technology to extract the cream from the bottom of the container.
The first user of this system was Genus Pharmaceuticals based in Newbury. They used the dispenser for the relaunch of Centraben a cream for skin conditions in a 500g polypropylene version of the container.
In addition to these two new ranges Rieke will also be exhibiting their RS30 sauce and cream dispensing system targeting the food market.
