The new closure, launched initially on products ranging from 1.25kg to 3kg and with a 5kg size likely to follow, significantly enhances the overall consumer experience in using Lam Soon’s family of products. Building on GCS closure concepts used in Europe, the new cap is a compact single piece snap hinge design combining several key features.

The dispensing spout incorporates a non-drip pourer, which immediately stops the flow of oil when angled back. In addition, the closure features a self-draining system allowing oil to flow back into the bottle. The Zeller closure also features a flow restrictor for smoother pouring to avoid glugging of the liquid.

In addition the design of the new closure ensures a secure product seal at the bottle neck and at the large diameter dispensing orifice to prevent product leakage and is suitable for use with a variety of bottle designs. An integrally moulded, flush fitting tamper evident band provides effective product security without compromising the visual appeal of the pack or filling line efficiency.

This unique closure has been designed to provide brand protection, improved convenience and shelf appeal.
