The foodservice jar is used for export into several countries.

The jar is produced in multilayer PP containing a barrier layer to protect the food product against excessive oxygen entry.

The new Van der Kroon/Camacho jar is able to withstand pasteurisation and sterilisation processes.

It has a 100 mm thread like the 2.4 L RPC standard Thermic Ultra jar that Van der Kroon Food Products b.v. has already used for many years, ensuring compatibility with the company´s filling lines.

Due to its smaller size the 1.5 L jar is easier to handle. The new jar is another step in Van der Kroon’s commitment to replacing its glass packaging, as stated in its slogan: “Kunststof – Veilig – Handig,” meaning “Plastic Jar – Safe – Easy”.
