The Rexam Turbo Insert, designed to powerfully boost the sprayed application of emulsions, gels and lotions as high as 100-times the viscosity of water, is now available to makers of personal care products in markets such as sun care, hair care and body care and makes its worldwide debut here at HBA Global Expo, September 8-10, Rexam booth #1915.

The Turbo Insert – the only device of its kind in the industry – eliminates the weak, messy stream of lesser dispensing components. It is a result of the company’s ongoing study of formulation flow and designed to work flawlessly with the company’s SP22 and 32 emulsion pumps, worldwide favorites renowned for their precision, consistency and evenness of spray. Both are powerful, flexible and available with Rexam’s Screw-On, Snap’On and Crimp-On attachment systems.

“Today, we see more demanding formulations for innovative emulsions and lotions for spray application,” said Virginie Lemeunier, Global Lotion Product Manager for Rexam Personal Care. “Anticipating the growth of this trend, we spent nearly two years developing the Turbo Insert, to allow our customers to offer high viscosity formulations in packaging that pleases consumers with a full, even spray pattern, consistency and continuity.” The Rexam Turbo High Viscosity model, for example, is suitable for viscous products such as SPF 50 and above.
