World Wide Packaging Inc. (WWP), a provider of cosmetic packaging components, introduces eco-friendly one-piece oval tubes, the newest product in WWP’s line of sustainable packaging solutions: WWPledge – An Eco-Friendly Commitment™. WWP is one of the first packaging companies in the cosmetic and skincare industry to offer eco-friendly tubes. The body of the tube, as well as the head and cap are made of a layer of post-consumer, recycled plastic resins (PCR.) World Wide Packaging recently developed the tubes for the Almay and Good Stuff Organics brands.

In addition to now being eco-friendly, the patented one-piece tube design eliminates the on-line filling problems associated with back-off in conventional tubes with caps, while ensuring the correct in-hand orientation of package graphics for maximum message and branding reinforcement. The tube prevents cap leakage and overflow, as well as residue contamination and contamination between the tube and cap. The tubes are custom-made with injection-molded flip-tops, angled applicators, and dome caps, and have gloss, matte or soft-touch finishes with a color, transparent, or pearlized luster.

They are available in 16mm, 25mm, 35mm, 40mm, 45mm, and 50mm sizes.
