Polyethylene is composed of carbon and hydrogen. PE foam is physiologically neutral. When PE-foam is burning, it doesn't generate smoke, nor gas. It is immediately changed into water and carbonic gas. PE foam does not react with groundwater and is water resistant and chemical neutral. It is also resistant to bacteria and mould.
