Manuplastics' new factory

Manuplastics' new factory - October 2008

Manuplastics is delighted to announce that its new plastic injection moulding factory in South Wimbledon, London, is now fully operational. The old site at Raynes Park is closed.

The new purpose built plant occupies 1.25 acres and is already producing 25% more with the capacity to expand further. All the latest injection moulding machinery is being introduced with both hybrid and electric machines in the range. These offer significant savings in energy usage.

Coupled with an increase in the use of robotics, the company maintains a very competitive position in the plastic jar market offering a high level of flexibility, good quality and very attractive ranges of single wall polypropylene jars which are used by many blue chip customers.

There is also an area dedicated to the assembly of ‘one at a time’ dispenser packs.

The company is very bullish about further growth as Sales Director, Alan Bray, explains.

“It has been frustrating to turn away business due to lack of capacity and space at the old site. We are, however, now taking new business on board and I expect this trend to continue as we have many new projects in the system.”
