Israel’s largest dairy producer Tnuva, a co-operative of kibbutzim, has launched a range of five different cheese snacks in 20g portion packs. The packs are formed on a Unifill machine using special multi-layer PS/EVOH/PE sheet developed for this type of machine by RPC Cobelplast.

For this application, RPC Cobelplast is also pre-printing the sheet. The PS outer layer gives a quality look to the packs, while the EVOH layer provides a barrier to oxygen ingress.

While most uses are for dairy products – including cheeses, condensed milk and yoghurts - portion packs have also been developed for a number of personal care products.
