INSPIRE Performance Polymers: an example of differentiation
Dow, outlined how polypropylene will continue to be one of the fastest growing thermoplastics in the world - and how Dow plans to help perpetuate that growth with INSPIRE* Performance Polymers, a family of differentiated, high-performance propylene-based products.
INSPIRE Performance Polymers offer up to three times the drawability, and can be run at high speeds with a thinner gauge and fewer breaks – again an improvement over conventional polypropylene.
The technology also offers improved low temperature impact resistance, opening up opportunities such as the blow molding or thermoforming of large parts where high melt strength and low temperature impact resistance are desirable.
