Based on a concept from Nivea’s parent company, Beiersdorf, the new design features a stylish conical shape and an innovative double-wall construction, whose translucent outer body and cap allows consumers an ‘insight’ into the product they are buying.
The pack’s mechanism utilises RPC Bramlage’s expertise in deo-stick design to ensure a smooth function. A removable sealing insert, which protects the product before use, is embossed with the Nivea logo to provide additional branding when the consumer first uses the product.
Comprising six individual parts, the packs are injection-moulded in solid and translucent PP. Front and rear labels are added during assembly.
A method of packing on returnable trays has been developed jointly by Beiersdorf and RPC Bramlage to facilitate convenient logistics for the unusual design.
The deo-stick is to be used worldwide across various deodorant types, such as Dry, Fresh and Sensitive. Additional branding for Nivea’s male and female series is provided by two colour versions – respectively, blue and white.
