A new hinged sport cap for a better safety and practicability
Building on its record for creativity and innovation, CROWN
Astra is proud to announce the launch of a new generation
of hinged sports caps for 30/25 and PCO 28 neck finishes,
which are more suited to today’s increasingly nomadic style
of consumption.Offering a real alternative to push / pull caps, the two-piece
hinged CHALLENGER sports cap complies with EN71-1:
1998 regulations and meets the strict quality requirements
of clean room production.
CHALLENGER offers the following fully optimised features:
• Increased reassurance of packaging and product integrity
by means of a slitted tamper evident drop band at the
bottom of the closure and a tear-off strip on the flip-top lid.
• Improved ease of use for opening and closing of the cap
with one hand as a result of the ergonomically designed lid.
• Increased user-friendliness as the lid can be pushed back
by 180° from the drinking spout.
• A snug fit between both components eliminating the risk
of leakage.
• An aesthetic sports closure, available in two colours, which
is suitable for the vast majority of existing filling lines.
