A First for Akva-Don
Akva-Don a mineral water company based in the Rostov on Don area in Southern Russia recently launched a new product for babies and toddlers with a standard 28mm SimpliDrink sports cap with SimpliSqueeze valve system from Seaquist Closures.« KAP-LIK », which comes in a handy 500ml PET bottle, is the first all-Russian product to opt for a valved sports closure. The attractive blue flip-top SimpliDrink closure is ideal for small children as there are no detachable parts. The silicone valve ensures optimum flow control, just a squeeze or a suck on the bottle suffices, and there are no risks of accidental spills as the valve seals immediately the pressure is released, even if the cap is left open.
Akva-Don produces for the local Russian market. Their total production is approximately 60 million litres a year with an estimated growth of about 15% per year."
