Once the plug is properly tightened into the flange, the seal occurs at the most critical point—the container material. The improved easy to use design protects better and eliminates gasket rupture, cutting, or shearing when plugs are tightened.

VISEGRIP II provides better sealing—with a unique, visual indicator that tells you when the closures are properly sealed. This optical verification promotes effective operator performance, an improvement for the most common cause of leaks. Even under the most extreme conditions, the VISEGRIP II closure maintains a secure torque, reducing the risk of plug back-off. The new design allows the flange to be used without any sealing material, eliminating potential compatibility issues.

VISEGRIP II provides better productivity—saving time and money. Along with this new closure system comes the option to use an all-plastic overseal. It can be snapped into place by hand so no crimping tool is necessary, improving efficiency. For more stringent tamper-evidence, a metal seal is also available.

VISEGRIP II plugs are clearly identified with an engraved VGII and yellow chromate plating, making the plugs easy to distinguish from the original Rieke VISEGRIP plug.
