These COC vials, called ‘Diabolos’, are manufactured and closed with a TPE cap in a class 100A room. They are then sterilized so that they do not require any additional processing before filling. This reflects an all-new level of expertise in pharmaceutical packaging manufacturing.

Aseptic Technologies, the owner of the technology, has designed innovative GMP compliant filling equipment that allows the vial to be filled through the TPE cap and the hole to then be resealed by laser. This new process will dramatically reduce the cost and the space required for injectablesvial filling operations.
