The functionality of the Seaquist Closures’ standard 28mm SimpliDrink® flip top closure, which dispenses the drink by means of a non-return silicone valve, means that there is no risk of leakage and above all no risk of tampering or spiking.

The size and styling of the 400ml PET pack make it handy to carry and easy to dance with. Clubbers no longer have to finish their drink before having fun on the dance floor or leave their drink and run the risk of having the bottle tampered with in their absence. The PET sports bottle is obviously safer than glass and fully recyclable. Its use is being actively encouraged by the police across the UK as a non-violent alternative to glass.

« We worked with a number of bars and clubs to develop a plastic non-spill alcopop bottle that addressed both those issues – but then we realised that we could also wipe out the danger of getting their drinks drugged and spiked in the process » said Andy Howe of Anglo Drinks. Anglo is testing Ctrl in a number of bars and nightclubs, and NUS Services Ltd. have also agreed to stock it on a trial basis.

The product is positioned as a more socially responsible product, allowing consumers to drink, dance and have fun, but “Ctrl” their night.
