Nestlé needed to give a new shape to a new product: a chocolate powder with cappuccino flavor, named NESCAU® Cappuccino. To achieve young people, the new package should innovate and give the product a modern identity.The new package developed by CBL is an expanded steel can, with ergonomic shape and lithography (replacing the traditional paper label), increasing a better finishing for the package and a modern shape.
The new expanded steel can was such a success that Nestlé introduced this new package for other special and differentiated products, as NESCAU® Light
Besides that, NESCAU® Cappuccino has received 3 awards: ABRE de Design & Embalagem 2005, for Industry Packaging Design and Embanews 2005, for Food Packaging, both in Brazil; and The Cans of the Year Awards 2005 – Gold for Food Cans, Three Piece.
