A precious treasure in a glass safe

A precious treasure in a glass safeTransparent charm: Cher from Michel Klein comes in a glass cube-shaped flacon from Gerresheimer.

Cher is the name given by the French fragrance master Michel Klein to his new perfume. Even at first glance it looks precious and totalling charming, protected in a glass safe. The unique cube flacon for this aristocratic ladies' perfume comes from the House of Gerresheimer.

Impossible to imagine clearer lines. The container has the unadulterated shape of a cube, nothing interrupts its strict geometry: tranquillity and objectivity seem to be personified in it. And yet this little block exudes astonishing energy, quite the reverse of coldness. How this is achieved by a transparent, simple and totally unadorned cube impresses even Burkhard Lingenberg who, as Director of Corporate Communications and Marketing for the Gerresheimer Group, is familiar with all the tricks of glass refinement: "Of course I know the effects that can be developed through clear glass in itself - but this flacon demonstrates them phenomenally well. It really is the perfect combination of visual lightness and weight, putting the perfume in a setting which highlights its desirability. In this harmony can be seen the high art of design and structure."

Immaculate transparency, brilliance and smoothness here create a weightless counterpoint to the stability of glass in the thick sides forming a protective wall. Visible from all sides, yet securely immured, Cher is presented as a precious treasure. Although gentle and discreet, the colour tone of the perfume attracts immediate attention. Its warm, blushing tint is visually centred and gives the glass fortress a fairy-tale allure. Equally clear and compact, the flush-mounted cap complements the glass to form the complete cube.
