Biscuits can be packed in OPP film with cold seal adhesive,
but the heat seal packaging process is also quite
common.High performance film with LTS (low temperature
sealing) coating can be used, which results in
a level of efficiency on the packaging line comparable
to that of cold seal adhesive.
A common requirement for biscuit wrappers is a base film with high barrier
properties to ensure a long shelf life and resistance
against water uptake, as well as protection with respect
