Rexam enhances transparency and neutrality in Super Low Profile Pump

Rexam enhances transparency and neutrality in Super Low Profile PumpRexam announces a new super low profile pump (SLPP) with more transparency and neutrality than ever before. The new SLPP mechanism with glass ball and transparent dip tube gives the Rexam pump assembly the most modern, sleek, low profile appearance in the fragrance market.

The clear trend, so to speak, in fine spray technology is to make the pump mechanism more and more invisible to the user," said Eric Desmaris, Marketing Manager for Rexam's Dispensing Systems business. "The goal is to achieve the most elegant, low profile look possible to accentuate the upscale elegance of the product. With our new SLPP with glass ball and transparent dip tube, we are able to offer customers the most elegant looking spray assembly available."

The glass ball in the SLPP mechanism is an alternative to a metal ball. Not only does it increase the neutrality of the overall spray mechanism but it also presents a cleaner, more invisible appearance, when coupled with the transparent dip tube. A new plastic material is used for this transparent dip tube that makes it invisible when immersed in the perfume. The new SLPP assembly also contains no elastomers that might contaminate the product formula. Rexam's smooth operating SLPP mechanism can accommodate dosages from 70 to 120 mml and comes with a choice of attachments including The Crimpless System®, Crimp On (no gasket), and Screw On. The SLPP is manufactured by Rexam facilities in both the U.S. and France to support international product launches. Manufacturing capacity is more than 200,000,000 units per year.
