Pomegreat gets a face lift as sales continue to soarPomegreat, the pomegranate juice drink that has prompted a ‘super-juice’ phenomenon in the UK, has revealed brand new packaging for its hugely successful range.

The contemporary new 1 litre Tetra Pak design has been developed to communicate the drink’s health benefits and refreshing taste, as well as clearly differentiating Pomegreat from the multitude of functional drinks now available.

With a bold design ensuring Pomegreat stands out on shelf and a clear colour differentiation between each variant, brand owner RJA Foods believes Pomegreat can continue to drive value back into the ambient sector.

Awareness of the benefits of drinking pomegranate juice has significantly increased as scientific studies into the fruit’s health attributes have generated enormous press coverage and raised pomegranate juice to ‘super juice’ status. As a result, over the last year, Pomegreat sales have grown dramatically on a monthly basis. Recent research revealed that pomegranate juice can help to fight prostate cancer has helped drive Pomegreat’s sales to its highest level yet – 2.1 million litres a month.

Pomegreat creator, Adam Pritchard comments; “In the past year we’ve experienced phenomenal growth as consumers have bought into Pomegreat for its great health benefits. We wanted to communicate these benefits clearly on our packaging to attract more consumers to try the product. Inevitably, following Pomegreat’s success, a number of competitors have entered the category. However, we are confident our redesign will ensure we stay ahead of the market.”

The eye catching new packs feature easy to use screw tops and continue to carry the logo of HEART UK, the leading cholesterol charity which approves Pomegreat for its health giving properties.
