The top web features a unique peelable heat seal system, which provides hermetic product protection with the convenience of consistent easy opening after sterilization. In order to optimize cold forming in the bottom web, a highly extensible aluminum foil lamination was developed with a sealing surface that is compatible with the peelable top web. This ensures high durability and maximum thickness throughout the package for barrier protection of the product.
